These plain-language terms cover using Soundboard. By booking a call, you agree to them.
What Soundboard provides
Soundboard provides paid, pre-scheduled one-to-one voice or video calls for peer listening, motivation, and accountability. This is not therapy, counselling, medical or mental-health treatment, legal or financial advice, or a crisis/helpline service. The listener is a peer, not a licensed professional, and no diagnosis, treatment, or guaranteed outcome is offered.
Booking & approval
- A booking is a request. Each request is personally reviewed and a time is confirmed by email. It is not instant or on-demand.
- Your first 15-minute intro call is free. Paid sessions are clearly priced before you pay.
- For paid sessions you are sent a secure payment link and are only charged after your booking is accepted.
Payment, cancellation & refunds
Payments are handled by our provider (NOWPayments) by crypto or a card-to-crypto option. If you need to cancel or reschedule, email us as early as you can and we'll do our best to accommodate you. If a paid call cannot be delivered on our side, we will reschedule it or refund it.
Your part
Please join at your confirmed time and treat the listener with respect. Soundboard is for supportive, non-clinical conversation; it is not appropriate for emergencies or active crisis — please use the resources below for those.
No guarantees & liability
We provide the service honestly and in good faith but cannot guarantee specific outcomes. To the extent permitted by law, Soundboard is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
